We suggest you taking part in a fantastic game that is curling. This Olympic sport is considered as one of the oldest team sports. Formerly it was known as the 'Roarin' game' because of a sound making by the granite stones sliding over the ice. The idea of curling was born in Scotland and the first official rules were drawn up in 1838 in Edinburgh.
This sport brings plenty of energy, laugh and adrenaline. Players are forced to cooperate with the rest of their team, react fast and make decisions in few seconds. This game provides an opportunity to prove yourselves in tactic skills but, of course, it is necessary to remember that it is just the game and we do it for fun.
Rules are simple: 8 - 48 players (it depends on the size of a track) in two teams slide their stones (8 for each team) to their target point on a special sheet of ice. Each curling stone weighs about 20kg. The game takes place in the well-known Arena in Helsinki and lasts approx. 2 hours. If you decide to try your hand at curling, you will have to go through a short introduction about the game and basic safety rules
