Finland is known as 'the land of thousand lakes'. There is more than 180,000 lakes. What's more, it is a land of plentiful islands and islets. Finland's Baltic coatsline is riddled with canals, smaller and bigger rivers, streams, ect. what makes this area an ideal place for sailing. Water activities fans may enjoy exciting moments on the vast area stretching between the eastern Gulf of Finland to the western edges of the Åland islands and then north to the far end of the Gulf of Botnia. Sailing can be a real adventure, especially in Finland, when you need to be contiuously vigilant and focus. However, it gives more fun than make you stressful beacuse it's challenging.  In order to cover the whole coast in the shortest way , you have to sail a mere 660 nautical miles. Sailing provides time for marveling at fantastic nature of mere windblown, barren cliffs, which as home to wildlife such as birds and seals or the white-tailed sea eagle. The Finland's coastline offers around 240 marinas and guest harbors as well as sheltered waters, light winds and calm seas. In marinas, you can taste a great meals ot take a pleasant walk around the nearest picturesque villages or even decide in a suana. Summertime will allow you enjoy light and calm nights. Sailing is for both beginners who want to try their hands at a new activity and for experience sailors.
