The most important buildings of Lahti are the Town Hall built in 1912, the Hennala Garrison area and the Anttilanmäki district with its wooden houses. One of the newest wooden construction is the Sibelius classical music hall which consists of the ex-carpentry factory, the Main Hall, the congress centre and the Forest Hall. Worth seeing is also Ski Museum, Lahti Historical Museum, unique Radio and TV Museum as well as the Church of the Cross, Messilä Manor and its Musical Fountains.
